• was born in New Orleans and brought home Christmas Eve in a stocking

  • lived in 16 different cities and although I'm an Angelino, my heart is in the South. 

  • one Grandfather was the lead singer of Slim Scoggins and his Roamin Cowboys and the other was a Hump Pilot  in WW2.

  • at 12 years old I held the California state record for the 10 and under 50yd backstroke

  • in first grade - stuck a popcorn seed down my ear and had to get it surgically removed. 

  • after convincing myself that I could fly if I believed hard enough, I jumped off the roof of my house and broke my arm.    

  • taught photography at Newport Beach High School. 

  • volunteered as a photography teacher to the blind at the Braille Institute of Los Angeles.

  • graduated Art Center College of Design in 2001 - Attended Ringling School of Art and Design previously.

  • at age 50, my father was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's.

  • favorite Artist is Theodere Geisel (Dr. Suess).

  • had a Gold fish named Mr. Fish.

  • toured with the Grateful Dead at age 17 and have attended Burning Man twice.

  • was a volunteer presentation scuba diver at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. 

  • injuries include: broken arm, stitches in my head and arm, metal plates / screws in my hand, broken nose and a chopped off finger 

  • a master at Chinese Kenpo, Krav Maga and am a Rescue Diver
